Service District
Eastern's facilities include its Moorefield Center academic and administrative headquarters, and six regional Discovery Centers located throughout a service district that encompasses 3,200 square miles in the Potomac Highlands of West Virginia:
"From the heights of Spruce Knob to the sprawling fields of the South Branch Valley; from the pinnacle of Seneca Rocks to the mysteries of Smoke Hole; from the splash of Blackwater Falls to the surprise of Ice Mountain; from the historic town of Romney to the futuristic Rocket Center; from the vistas of Caanan Valley to the depths of Lost River—a District soon-to-be linked by a modern interstate highway, known alternatively as Corridor H or Route 66 Extended." **
(And now also known as WV Route 48.)
