  • Create your own masterpiece in 3 hours time!
  • You don’t need to know how to paint - we’ll teach you!
  • Bring shareable snacks - we’ll provide hot chocolate, and the art materials!

CERT Training Class
Be A Part Of Your Community Emergency Response Team

  • Open to Tri- county Students (16-20) & Adults
  • Feb 5, 5:00 AM — 9:00 PM  & Feb. 6, 8:00 AM — 6:oo PM
  • Course held at: RRT Building, 144 Emergency Lane, Moorefield, WV
  • Registration Deadline:  February 1
    • Adults ($10 registration fee)
    • Students ages 16-20 (FREE registration)
    • Minimum of 5 students needed to hold the training

  • A CERT member is trained to prepare for and respond in their neighborhood after a disaster
  • Disaster preparedness
  • Fire safety and fire suppression safety

  • Training covers
  • Upon course completion, participants receive a preparedness kit and are registered with their local Office of Emergency Management

Welcome to Eastern West Virginia Community & Technical College's Community Education and Continuing Education Programs. Eastern offers a variety of non-credit courses and activities to encourage lifelong learning. Because these programs connect individuals in our communities who have developed expertise and skills in a particular activity with others who wish to learn, we call this program Community Connections!.

If you love to learn new things, but hated all those tests in school, Community Education courses are right for you! Courses have a short duration and are designed to meet the specific interests of area residents. There will not be any tests!! Learn new skills and have fun in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.
