SUMMER 2013: Class Schedule

Please Note change in Summer session dates. The 10-week session officially ends on July 26, however, some sections may run longer (see Summer course schedule below for exact dates.) Unless otherwise noted on the schedule, classes begin the week of May 20, 2013.
Check back often for adjustments to times, days of week and instructors, as well as for additions and cancellations.

For any given course, if any such adjustment has occurred, the symbol Δ will appear in the extreme left margin of that course listing. In addition, an explanation of the adjustment (for example: added course; course cancelled; room change; etc.) will appear in the listing.

For further explanation of how such adjustments in the course listings will be displayed, and for a listing of ALL the courses that have undergone some adjustment, check the Course Schedule Adjustment Page [←click here].

[Also note: learners will find all information on required and recommended textbooks and supplemental materials for each course — including the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) and retail price — by following the instructions given in the "How to Order Books Online" section of the Spring 2013 Schedule webpage[←click here] .

If you are not sure that you are ready to make a purchase, the instructions allow you to access all relevant information without having to complete the book order.]

New Student Orientation & Registration

Students who have successfully completed an online or VDL course do not need to attend an online course orientation session; however, students are strongly encouraged to repeat this session.

Prior to each of the online/VDL orientation sessions, Learner Support staff will be available to assist students with course registration.  Students intending to attend should schedule an appointment with an advisor to assure staff availability for registration.  Call Laurel Godlove to schedule an appointment.

Additional Information

Students who have applied for or intend to apply for Financial Aid should contact the Financial Aid Office for information required for completing the application or FAFSA. Attending an orientation session helps students get off to a successful start.

The College Counselor, academic advisors and staff will be available to answer questions and to provide information that will make starting classes easier.

Following the New Student Orientation Session, students will meet with their program advisors to register for classes. Call Patty Goldizen to schedule an appointment.
